In March of each year, the entire country celebrates the achievement of women and their varied contributions business, politics, art, entertainment and civic organizations, I am reminded of the many strong and accomplished women who have played key roles in my life. Like many women, my life and experiences have been shaped by women of courage and great strength.

Although many of those ladies including my mother and grandmothers are deceased, the fruits that they bore are living testaments to their legacies.

My life continues to be shaped by aunts, cousins, sister-friends, extended family and an entire cadre of women who dare to dream and to live beyond expectations and limitations.

These women-smart, strong, and sophisticated-inspire us to believe in our unconquerable spirit and in the limitless possibilities we possess when we are willing to live with resolve, believe with our hearts and work with reckless abandon.
